For many years Austevoll Seafood ASA has worked actively to ensure that a strong focus on environmental attitudes and corporate social responsibility is exercised as part of daily operations. The Board of Directors maintains a constant focus on environmental standards and corporate social responsibility and works to ensure that all the Group’s employees, at all stages of production are made aware of the need to exercise strong focus on environmental standards and social responsibility in their daily work. The Group’s corporate social responsibility is manifested in the local communities in which it operates. For Austevoll Seafood ASA corporate social responsibility consists primarily in achieving commercial profitability without compromising on fundamental ethical values or requirements concerning environmentally sustainable operating principles.
